Guess what I learned today? This will probably be good information for everyone, and maybe most of you knew this, but I didn't. You know the little packets of silicongel that comes in things like purses and I can't think of anything else they come in but it is not hazardous to your child's health when swallowed.
I found and opened empty packet this morning and asked Dylan if he ate it. He said "Yep, in mouth, good." Oh great, I thought they were going to blow up in his stomach or something, so I called Poison Control, the guy said just give him something to drink. Who knows what else he has eaten.

Flying a kite

I got Dylan a kite for Easter, yesterday was really the first day that we haven't had really strong wind, so we decided to fly it. There was a nice breeze and it kept switching directions so it was hard to keep it in the air. I would get it up in the air and hand it off to Dylan, then it would crash. He got really frustrated with it and kept asking to take it inside to fly it, I tried to explain to him that we had to have the wind to fly it, he didn't understand and just kept asking to take it inside. In his 2 year old mind we should have been able to fly it inside, after a while he just gave up and played with his trucks.

Tyson

I took Tyson in for his 9 month checkup yesterday. He weighs 23.1 lbs and he is 30 1/4 inches tall, that puts him the 90 % for both height and weight. He is exactly 1 lb and 1 inch bigger than Dylan was at 9 months. He can pull himself up to standing now and has started to walk along the couch. It is really interesting to see the difference in Tyson and Dylan's personalities, Tyson likes to wrestle and Dylan doesn't, Tyson is a bit more aggresive, and so silly. We love him dearly.
This is what we woke up to this morning.
We had about 6 inches, but it is heavy and wet and a little warm so it is melting fast.
Dylan was so excited when he say it, the first thing he said was " Santa Claus"

We went to the Dole Plantation.
This was the coolest thing ever, we went swimming with sharks. It was totally safe, we were in a cage, and there were about 30 sharks swimming around us. It was so crazy, but so much fun.
We were at a beach on day and we saw this little guy on the beach and he had 3 other buddies with him. It was really neat to see these guys in the wild.
We had so much fun, we loved Hawaii. It was hard to leave the boys, but they did just fine without us. Thanks to Marty's parents for taking care of them for us. They had a very fun week.
Aloha!Marty and I will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary this year, so we decided to take a little trip. We spent a week in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. We had such a good time, and it was so beautiful.
We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center.
We hiked up Brian Head Crater.
We hiked up to Makapuu Lighthouse.
We went on an ATV ride at Kualoa Ranch.
This place is so beautiful, some movies have been filmed here in this spot.
