Grand Falls

Tyson checking out the falls, I think that he really liked them.
Dylan checking out the falls, he loved them. He wanted to stay there all day. Marty had to keep him on his shoulders because he really wanted to stay by the edge. There were alot of sticks and things that had pooled at the bottom of the falls, Dylan kept saying they were noodles.
Marty holding onto Dylan.
Me and the boys and the dog.
This trip was a huge adrenaline rush for Marty and I. The dog really wanted to go swimming in the water, he kept going to the edge and try to find a way down to the water. And just holding onto boys in the wind. Wow, Marty and I were totally exausted. But it was fun.

8 months old

Look at this cute kid. I can't believe how fast he has grown.
At this point in Tyson's life he loves....
food ( see all the rolls)
rolling
smiling
his dad
anything soft
music
clapping
Things he doesn't like....
being tired
the wind blowing in his face
peas
getting stuck
He is a great baby, we love him dearly!

Easter Weekend

We woke up super early on Saturday morning and drove to my parents house. The community was having an Easter Egg hunt at 9:00 a.m. I was so excited to take Dylan " he was going to have so much fun". Well it was almost a complete disaster. He wanted nothing to do with it, he just rolled around in the dirt and screamed when I would try to direct him somewhere. Once he got the idea he had a lot of fun. So this is Dylan getting it. Sorry it was through the fence.
Dylan with his bucket of eggs and chocolate, he ate so much chocolate.
Dylan playing in the sandbox. He only came inside once on Saturday and that was to go to bed.
Don't look to close we all look terrible. This was our beautiful Easter family picture. Dylan was screaming and kicking and Tyson wasn't happy because the wind was blowing in his face. Marty wanted the dog in the picture, who was almost to sore to even stand from swimming all day on Saturday, so he kind of looks sick, and I was yelling at my sister to take the dang picture. Not as glamorous as I had imagined it to be.
And this is Dylan after along weekend of to much fun with his dirty sun burned face and totally wiped out. We had a fun weekend.

Drums

I gave these bong drums to Tyson this morning to beat on and he thought they were the best thing ever. He would beat on them and sing his little happy songs, he had a great time.

Oh Dylan!!

This picture was taken last week sometime, I was making dinner and Dylan was in the play room "playing with his train" so I thought. Things got really quite for a while and I decided I had better check on him, this is what I found. Dylan found the Theragesic. Do you know what theragesic is? It is muscle relaxant cream, and I smells like really, really strong peptobismol. He was rubbing it into his hands and said that it was lotion. It was all over the couch, his clothes and in his hair. He is really lucky he didn't get it in his eyes because it would have hurt really bad. So I stripped him down and threw his clothes, the couch cover and my clothes in the washer, I had to wash everything twice to get the smell out. The house stunk for a few days after that and my eyes and nose just ran the rest of the day. Of course it was my fault to because I was the one that left it in the window where he could find it. I hate that!

Beautiful Day

Today was so beautiful outside, I spent the afternoon outside watering the lawn while the boys where sleeping. I am so ready for warm weather.

When Dylan woke up I was so excited for him to go outside and enjoy the sunshine with me. I didn't even put any pants on him. We had fun watering my flowers and the lawn and he was playing in his sandbox, lots of fun. When Tyson woke up Dylan decided to take him for a ride.

Our little photographer

Dylan really likes to play with the camera, Sunday afternoon he found the camera and just started flashing pictures. These are just a couple that turned out pretty good, he took about 20. It isn't very often that Marty and I get to have our pictures taken together.

Hair dos

So I didn't really think that Dylan a 2 1/2 year old really ever noticed what I do with my hair. Yesterday I learned different. Most days I don't have time to blow dry my hair after I get out of the shower so I just put it in a ponytail. The boys just happend to take a little bit longer nap yesterday, so I had a few minutes to actually fix my hair, for the first time this week. After I was finished I heard Dylan jumping on his bed, I went to open his door, and he looked at me and said,
" Hey, hair done." I started laughing so hard, I seriously had no idea he ever noticed.

Tyson's adventures for the week

Tyson went on his first wagon ride this week, he was so excited that he even waved at the camera. It was a beautiful sunny day, we took some friends with us and the dog. It was quite an adventure to pull a wagon with Dylan wining that he didn't want Tyson to touch him and walk a dog. Then Dylan decided he wanted out and he wanted to walk the dog. He did really good until Bear got a crazy scent of something and took off running and drug Dylan along with him. Then Tyson started screaming and Dylan still wanted to walk the dog and we weren't quite half way home. Needless to say we all made it home. I don't think I will take the dog next time.

This is my new way of containing Tyson while I cook dinner. I put him in the sink with some toys and he loves it. I can talk to him easier this way and he can see what I am doing, and his toys can't get away from him.

Tyson is getting so big, I got his little buster seat so he could sit with us at the table. He really enjoys seeing all of the commotion that goes along with eating at the table. He really feels like he is all grown up too.

Playing in the mud

So I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago, and I am just now getting around to posting them. Dylan was having so much fun outside playing in the mud all by himself, until mom saw how muddy he was and had to take pictures. That made him so mad and it ruined all of his fun.

This is not Dylan trying to smile, this is Dylan crying and trying to get away from me.
He has so much fun outside.
